About Jake

Professional Makeup Artist and Mold Maker, Jake C. Barber has been transforming faces for over 8 years, on films, commercials, theatre, editorials, and with prosthetics.

Jake attended the Master Makeup course at Makeup Designory School (MUD) in Burbank, CA. This Led him to work as head of the mask department for Broadways 'Wicked and major feature films such as Ghostbusters: After Life, and Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. As well as Department headed indie features such as 'Last Stop in Yuma County' by Francis Galluppi and 'Bloody Bridget' by Richard Elfman
He is a SPFX Artist for 'Shot Gun Wily,' 'Beyonce,' 'Derek Pope' and has been published in 'Dark Beauty Mag' 'Stunning Beauty Mag' and in 'Makeup Designory's' Catalog.

He received 'Makeup Artist of the Year' at the famous '17th Door Haunt' also a nomination for 'Best Makeup' in Utah Film Awards in 2015 for the movie 'Step Larpers.'

Jake currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
